Hello!
My very good friend recently brought me two baby red eared slider turtles that he rescued. I wasn't prepared for any new additions to my household, but never turn away a little animal in need.
They are about two inches big at this time, and are becoming a little annoyed being together in a small set-up. I am planning on building a creek in my back yard in the spring, and hope for one to continue to live with me.
I am looking for a home for the other, BUT I will only place him/her in a suitable home. People too often get these babies because they are so cute, only to eventually neglect them or irresponsibly set them free in a local pond/lake.
These guys can easily live over 20 years, so I am going to be very cautious to whomever is interested.
With that being said, I would appreciate serious inquiries only.
Please pm me with any interest.
I am in no rush to place this baby in a home, and will wait as long as it takes for the appropriate home to come along.
Thanks!
danielle
