After boiling a few corals during the last heat swell I think it is time to look into a chiller. I don't know much about them so any info you can provide I would appreciate.
I have a 1/15hp CurrentUSA chiller on my Aquapod 24. The temp hit about 95 degrees outside yesterday and it kept my tank from frying. I also have a 150watt metal halide for lighting as well.
I have a mini-artica chiller that works great on my 24 gal nano cube. PC lighting, not metal halides. But it did keep the tank nice and cool even with the hot summer we had in Denver (no AC at the time).
