I'm looking into replacing my 10 gal makeshift reef tank with the 29 gal biocube.

Anyone have ideas on how to go about the moving process?

Should I transport live sand or just buy all new? I don't want to just dump the current sand, as it has populated nicely since I started the setup.

How about the live rock?

I'm also worried about cleaning the sides of a curved corner tank. I've been using a razor blade to get rid of tough algae, but I don't think I'll be able to do that with the new one.

My son had a 15 gal tnak in his room and I moved it to a 29 JBJ HQI tank. I reused the sand, I took everything out of the 15 put it in buckets. Drained all the water to buckets. Used a dustpan to scoop and relay teh sand into the new tank. Put the rock with no coral in. Filled the tank with some of the old water. Added the rock with coral, then the rest of the water and the new saltwater I had ready to go. Presto....
