Skimming a nano...

I am looking at starting a Nano tank, and im looking at building the tank my self, its going to be 1-5g tank, some where in there but i was wondering what a good way of skimming such a small tank. I am hoping for a way of skipping the HOB skimmer types. I was thinking of building a refuge by splitting the tank, maybe building some sort of skimmer back there.

Any suggestions on ways of going about this, i would apprechate it.

Hello Mojos I wanted to welcome you to our board! I'm at work just before a meeting so I have to run, but I wanted to point you to a recent thread on our forum about skylsdale's skimmer, it should be just below this one for you to see one possibility. And, as this thread remains on top some of the reef aquarists that employ nano skimmers will surely chime in. I'd yak more but I have to run, and wanted to make sure you were welcomed and your thread was back on top again.
