Well here is an update on the tank which is around 9 months old. Tank has only 80L / 20G net of water. I water change twice a week at 25% each. IMO large water changes are the best way to keep the water quality up in such a small volume.

Tank has come a long way since the pics in the begining. Hope you enjoy.

Tank is basically complete. Will grow out a bit. So hopefully i can now sit back and enjoy. May add a few cleaner shrimps again in the months to come.

Cheers

hey again- saw your tank on TRT too, just wanted to say again how sweet it is!

Many thanks,

I'm hoping it will mature into something even nicer. The foundation has been set, just have to see how the next 9 months go (hopefully as good as the first 9 months)...fingers crossed.

Cheers

Many thanks,

So far they have not stung anything (fingers crossed). The way that I have positioned them they open up towards the surface more than to the side etc where the other corals are. It's getting close in there but so far so good.

Cheers

GOOD! Because they pack one hell of a sting. :(

Sure do. It's the only coral that i can feel when it stings. Never had problems with any other corals stinging me.

Just one question if you don't mind mate. Why two 25% water changes each week? For all I know the extra work of mixing up 5 gallons twice a week for the duration of having the tank is what makes your tank so beautiful  , but that seems like a lot of water changing. Is it something you've always done as a habit, or did you start performing these frequent water changes because you needed them at some point?

Thanks
