Ha! That's cool/. I recall severe tendonitis back in the 80's from playing MIke Tyson's punch out till all hours of the morning. I suspect you'll have it even worse if you keep the current going in that thing like it should...
If you ever did a reef with it, at least it has a sealing lid. Leaving some airspace at the top might allow for enough O/CO2 gaseous buffering throughout the nite and day cycles to work without a refugium...just light it from the front angle with a palm light on some mushrooms, no need to make a canopy. Also, if you wanted automated circulation you could make the false bottom I mentioned one time and use the ceramic stirrer bar (set on top of a scientific stirring plate) to save you from having to put a powerhead in such a thin environment. Just an idy!
