Thanks Taz

I have been feeding the tank DT's Live Phytoplankton 2-3 times a week and brine shrimp twice a week. I don't know if the brine shrimp is doing anything but the fish sure tear into it.

Thanks,

Tice

Yeah, I ended up adding a second 24watt 50/50 stock light. I was able to mount the second ballast next to first and lights are tight side by side. I will send some pictures of the hood this weekend.

Thanks,
Tice

I haven't added a small fan to it yet, but I do have a house fan blowing on the tank with the lid open during the day. The temperature is hanging right around 80-81. Without a fan on it, it would easily be around 85 or more. I plan on adding a small fan to the hood soon.

Thanks,
Tice

Here is a picture of the hood with the second light. I was able to mount both ballasts side by side under the reflector. Fitting both lights under the splash guard was a little tricky. I had to remove the light clips that hold the stock one in place. With a little stuffing I was able to fit both in there.
Thanks,
Tice
