I just bought a jbj 12g Nano Cube and would like to know what kinda of upgrades are there for this on what do u guys recommend. Also are u guys running the bioballs
There are many different ways to set one of these up. It really depends on what your goals are. What are you planning on keeping in it? How experienced of an aquarist are you? Do you live in a warm climate (heat can be an issue with these tanks)?
Will 2x32w PC's fit or only 2x28w with a possible extra 13w?
Or, as I asked in this thread, will a SCWD fit in the back?
From everything I've read I think everyone pretty much agreed that any MH is likely to melt the standard plastic cover but that it wouldn't be rocket science to retro a new one of some sort - but that heat will probably become a much more serious issue...
For the most part mmync, many reefers will discourage the use of bioballs in favor of a LR setup. Dig around using the "search" feature, there's lots of info here.. :wink:
