Check out the second link in my signature. It shows pics of my eclipse 6 hood, which I crammed a 65W and 13W bulb into. It's completely waterproof, cooled by two fans, and I could even add another 13W if I wanted. I believe it will grow Montipora, and possibly Acropora. I'll PM you details if you'd like.
Hey thats the first time Im noticed the lighting scheme in your eclipse. I remember noting how bright the water column was but didnt recall seeing the two different bulbs. I do think it will grow any SPS--the other two factors of success and measure will be the distance they are placed on the LR structure, and the steady Ca+ and Alk support. That bent-tube pc is COOL, and in a mag I have Coralife just came out with one with two of the tubes being actinic----easy retrofits can be found with these bulbs--you just run a light extension cord to your hood and buy a special three-dollar receptacle from RadioSlakkkker that converts an outlet into a screw-base socket. Onboard ballast, low heat, these little bulbs are handy for sure. It would be easy to fit two or three of these inside your new nano reef hood with a little spacing modification.
