Hi all. On my 20 long I am having problems keeping it warm through the night. Temps were 75-76 during the day and dipping to 72 by morning. So I purchased a 50w heater and set it to 78. Well during the day it is fine but still at night it drops to 72. So my question would be is the 50w not enough. I am thinking not b/c its not doing the job right. What are my options? Bigger heater??

Yeah Id agree its not enough. A 25watt barely keeps my .75 gallon at 80 degrees (during winter or high AC nights) so a 25l in a cool room is really working that heater. Either a larger one (150-200w maybe) or multiple heaters will help!

Good luck. You are lucky to have it too cool as opposed to hot like most of us

in the summer i have no problems but in the winter i need my 150watt to heat my 29 so i think you may need at least a 100watt for a 20. hth
