As long as careful consideration is given to stocking densities and relative surface area, all these are valid and useful filtration approaches. I voted for natural because it involves the least maintenance out of the given options, but is also the most restrictive in terms of carrying a fish bioload out of the above options. It will be neat to see what others like to use.

I prefer the refugium...but with a substantial dsb or plenum as well in a sump...I dont know if that is quite natural.
