skimmer options. 30gal SPS

Whats a tried and proven skimmer in the 200-300$ range? 30gallon display with 25 gallon sump. Looking to have a fully stocked SPS tank. right now theres only a few frags but I only want to purchase once.

theres just too many options out there im not sure the pros/cons.

with these in sump skimmers, do they require baffles? or can I drop it right into my fuge area?

They require a steady water depth. So yes, either a baffle or a good ATO to maintain depth.

is there a clea choice between the reef octopus, bubble magnus, and SWC?

also, my fuge water level never changes, not sure why they ever would either. Does this mean I can run the skimmer in the fuge?
