I guess I should have used the actual specs I was trying to achieve.. My apologies.. I was only using those figures as an example **
right now Im about 1.023 and I would like to bring it to 1.025/6 with the smallest topoff possible.. so I should just go with water at 1.025/6 and...
Hello,
I was wondering if anyone has a calculator that will allow Me to raise the gravity of My water in a specified number of additions for topping off My tank.. I seem to remember a conversion table that would tell Me how
to do this..
for example...
if My level was at 1.032 and I wanted to...
I live in Hanover,
I have been to the Lancaster store many times.. I am starting to search for Zoo's Lancaster has those.. I get out to New London several times a month... I thought about heading the the place in Phila. might be nice to meet a few folks that are heading that way...
Keep me in...
At first I didn't think he was bad either.. however, this one is making its way all over my rock.. and seems to be slowly chewing bits and pieces off.. I believe I will have to remove it somehow.. I just hope I don't need to rip the tank apart.
That thought had occured to me.. I tried to gently give it a push..it appears to really attach itself to the rock.. and those spines would easily go through a rubber kitchen glove.. they are quite thick and at least an inch long... Guess I need to devise something... as it has knocked over...
I have this urchin that was initially a hitchhiker on florida cultured rock. It was very tiny several months ago. Now it has 1 inch spines. and is causing issues in my tank.. What is a safe way to remove this beast? It is a charcoal grey/black color.. I have no idea what type of urchin it is...
Well thanks to someone posting a pic here I found out that I have one of these.. it came on aquacultured rock from Live rock.com do these need to be fed other than what floats in the water, and shold they be close to or sheltered from light.. currently it is perched a bit up in my tank under...
That was my thought it has been swimming up to the top of the tank and basically all over... I suppose my little clowns will have a good meal if that is the case.. though it would be nice to have 1 or 2 survive. I am in no way equipped for getting the little ones to survive.. :?
I have 2 peppermint shrimp. One of which is acting a bit strange.. I have noticed on its belly what looks like lots of little legs.. I guess 8O 8O
They have recently appeared. the other shrimp doesn't have them.. they are sort of brownish colored.. and it is swimming all over the place...
Im not being critical.. I have a 20high and wouldn't even consider a tang for that tank... I am having a difficult time even making any desicions on what to put in mine.. I do believe I will add a pair of clowns to mine and that may actually be all.. 8O
Matt,
I see the site you show doesn't sell livestock mailorder... :( I believe I will get that book.. I know that many folks have their respective opinions. That was why I posted this to begin with.. I have done some research on clowns in the wake of getting several..
I just want to make...
my southdown is just fine after being set-up for just over a month.. I even have one of my powerheads pointed downward toward the bed.. mine doesn't seem to really be any issue.. :)
