After adding a small piece of rock with 3 tiny mushrooms on it over a year ago, my tank is now becoming over run with hundreds of shrooms. They are even growing on the glass.
Are there any corals out there that can out sting mushrooms?
I'm planning a new 90g tank (48x18x24).
With closed loop systems being popular, I was thinking about trying it on this new tank.
My question is at what point does the strength of the glass become an issue with so many holes drilled in it?
Does such an item exist?
I'm in the process of building a new system, and would like to be completely sumpless.
A hang on calcium reactor would be awsome!
My only available storage place is in my garage. However, the garage can get into the 110-120 range during the summer. Any ill effects on storing water at that temp? Other than the obvious one of raising my tank temp by adding warm water.
Thanks for the reply. That was the answer I was hoping to hear.
Basically what I'm thinking about doing(should have posted this originally) is to build a new "closed loop" system without any sump. My big problem was heating. If I can plumb one of these heater modules inline with my closed loop...
