Yes, I have worked with plastics before. This is not a typical sump. Being that the acrylic pane is on the interior portion of the pvc sump. If memory serves me correct, advanced acrylics hot welds pvc around the acrylic pane and the PVC sump. It will be hard to put either a square or round...

WOW, I have installed many advanced acrylic sumps especially the pvc hybrids... I am surprised they are not replacing the sump. hope this all works out for you.
