Seamaiden, Thanks for the info. I do realize that to much UV will cause corals to burn but UV is what makes them flouresce (sp) isnt it. Jerod

Hey I was just wondering if anybody has experimented with UV on corals. They have now came out with UV LED. I wonder if there could be any benefits. Heck the sun puts out a ton. I know you can't give it too much but will a small amount help? Should improve colors huh? Jerod

Which one would you use for a 10gal nano. A 250w DE or 150W DE. This will be hung over the tank not in a good. Should I use DE or mogul? I like DE Thanks Jerod

brandon, as far as power supply the one I have runs on 2 c batt or 4 AA batts. I have no idea if they can run dc or not. Sorry beemer
