I just finished a DIY KalkReactor, and I found the highest quality fittings, and best prices at a local pool supply house. They even carry clear schedule 40 PVC for $13 a foot. That's cheaper than anyplace I've ever heard.

It wouldn't be set as a continuos drip if I'm using a float switch would it? It would only flow water if the float switch is activated. Does that help any?

I built my own protein skimmer out of acrylic PVC a while back, and they make a special glue for that specific purpose. You can buy it at any acrylic supply store. It's designed specifically for bonding acrylic to other types of plastics. Ryan
