There's a guy on RC that is selling some algae eating snails. He swears they have cleaned up his tank. Very reasonable. He is on the selling forum. Might better check with him before he sells out. Got pics showing them eating the algae. Good Luck!
So little is known about these particular flatworms. They are being imported on sps. And we need to know what to do and how to treat for them. They seem to have every hobbyist trembling in fear. So I hope some one will do some research and share with us all about this latest pest we will be...
I also have a BB and it's going over a yr old. I have a refug with Macro. Wondering if anyone else is also using a refu on their BB tanks. If so, have you had any problems with Macros or other algaes in your display tank?
Okay got it. I will follow the directions will close. I think I can get them to sell me one box of six. That will be easier than 3. I barely read all the directions I was thinking 1 pill per 10 gals. Don't worry I'll read the directions very carefully before I start the treatment. And I'll ask...
Okay, it will be worth a try. I'm sure I'm going to get some strange looks and a lot of questions. I wished this stuff wasn't prescription only. So Dustin all I need is maybe 3 packages of 6 for a total of three seperate treatments
Will we be able to get enough of it from the vet? I have a small dog and I use the interceptor for heart worm prefentive, will they sell enough for a 350 gal system. Since it is by prescription.
Great glad to hear that! Thanks Paul for the reply. Can't wait to get the medication. Maybe it will be soon. I know we all are waiting to hear the word. And I'm hoping that Dustin finds out that they won't come back later.
I'm also wanting to know. How much longer will we be in suspence? The red bugs are in my system also. I'm hoping I don't lose anymore. Some are quite pale.
This sounds like a great break thru. I also have a problem with these pests. I have already lost several nice frags to red bugs. I can't wait to find out what the medication is and the final outcome.
DustinDorton thanks for your time in helping find a cure. I'll stay tuned to hear more. :D
