Basically, what I was trying to say is: At SMS, those who don't use the right testkit have big problems as a result.

23 I wouldn't think most people would start a tank before upper high school. Some may have parents with a tank, but it tends to be an expensive hobby.

Over feeding causes other problems, too. Of course, the key is to learn all you can about your tank inhabitants. I agree that the first question would be "how well established is your tank aka how long has it been set up.. how many fish.. etc etc"

I test a lot less at both school and home, at home - everything is beautiful and happy. I could tell if something was off. My test kit is still pulled out for company and such to see that the tank has X about of this. School still quite a bit more, as the filter died and a totally new thing...

Do you have something for your clowns to rub its body in (besides the sand)? It irritates some soft corals, but there are quite a few things that can get used to it, depending on what you want to try .

I think I'm just paranoid, but thanks . I don't think cherry bombs would mix well with an anemone and the corals, thought the maroon clown could live through a nuclear fallout .
