    They are also reporting drops in cyano using vodka. This make sense because cyano is a bacteria that uses the same nutrients as the bacteria bloom. Only difference is this "good" bacteria is removed with the skimmer.

    My XMs are 10k. To me they look the same as the ushios, except a little brighter.

    I replaced my ushios with XMs. One bulb was bluish, the other was greenish. I returned the greenish one for a new bulb. Now they are both bluish and super bright. Perhaps a little quality control problem, but I will order XMs in the future.

    I've ordered livestock and drygoods from them numerous times over the past eight years. Never had a problem.

  10. Anyone using Blueline or Icecap MH Ballasts?

    The Icecap 175s I had worked great for 5 years before they were retired. Both of my Icecap 250s failed for one reason or another. Icecap repaired them for free, but still a PITA to send back and wait. I switched to magnetic ballast for my 400s. Less hassle.

    I have the Ruby Head Fairy Wrasses from liveaquaria.com. Not too pricey and they arrived big and fat. They rival a mandarin for beauty. Mine eat frozen mysis and flake.
