  1. F/S: Neon pink bubble tip anemone

Yes, that could be the actual anemone. The others are of varying sizes, so I'm happy to sell one of the medium sized anemones.
  2. F/S: Neon pink bubble tip anemone

FOR SALE: One neon pink bubble tip anemone, seen here: $75 Clownfish not included! We bought one of these anemones a few years ago, and it has since split three times! Our tank cannot support four anemones, so we are hoping it goes to a good home. Please email me off list with any...

Corals and anemones doing OK, although I don't think they're too jazzed about the reduced light cycle. One anemone moved to another part of the tank last week, but seems OK now.

The nitrates and phosphates, while some may say high and some may say low, are the LOWEST they've been since I started the tank. I had no algae with high(er) nitrates and phosphates. Now, with low(er) nitrates and phosphates algae is an issue. ?? It doesn't make much sense. I will order more...

I live in Chelsea. Rich, I'd like to know more about what you're saying. In a lot of what I've read, deep sand beds are the suggested way to go. This is what we were trying to do in the fuge. Is that no longer the prevailing school of thought? Does that sand have to be completly replaced every...

All of the animals you suggest for eating algae have been tried already. None of them were interested. If the test kit registers little/zero phosphates, how can I have a phosphate problem? That doesn't make any sense. Isn't that what test kits are for? The large mexican turbos we had all died...

The EV-240 is too tall for my sump area. I've only got about 28" underneath in the stand.

Not leafy. Like grass. Yes, tested water out of RO/DI unit and it's golden. Phosphate parems listed above. What could be leaking iron? We have replaced the power heads. We aren't using a heater. ??

Oh, and I'm not dosing Kalk any longer.

Oh, and the algae is green, with long strands. Not matte algae. It got so prolific at one point that clumps of it were rolling through the water like tumbleweeds.

No picture, unfortunately. Digital camera on the fritz. I am adding iodine (1 capful) about every week. We were using a phosphate remover, when fish were in the tank, but it's no longer necessary. Inverts: mushrooms, hermit crabs, 1 peppermint shrimp, 1 camel shrimp, 2 bt anemones, pulsing...
