Corals and anemones doing OK, although I don't think they're too jazzed about the reduced light cycle. One anemone moved to another part of the tank last week, but seems OK now.

The nitrates and phosphates, while some may say high and some may say low, are the LOWEST they've been since I started the tank. I had no algae with high(er) nitrates and phosphates. Now, with low(er) nitrates and phosphates algae is an issue. ?? It doesn't make much sense. I will order more...

All of the animals you suggest for eating algae have been tried already. None of them were interested. If the test kit registers little/zero phosphates, how can I have a phosphate problem? That doesn't make any sense. Isn't that what test kits are for? The large mexican turbos we had all died...

The EV-240 is too tall for my sump area. I've only got about 28" underneath in the stand.

Oh, and the algae is green, with long strands. Not matte algae. It got so prolific at one point that clumps of it were rolling through the water like tumbleweeds.
