  1. Cree LED light write-up

Hey folks, with the help of Mike over at RapidLED, I figured out the problem. The LEDs being so dim was a result of the dimmer circuit not functioning. You'd see the same results if the leds were wired correctly to the drivers, but the dimmer was not set up at all. In order to test this, once...
  2. Cree LED light write-up

Here is an additional tidbit - I just realized tonight that the lights are turning on. They are barely visible though... really really dim. Does that make it easier for someone to offer troubleshooting advice? I tried turning the SV2 knob once I realized this, but turning it further...

Thanks for the response RapidLED! Is there any way to know which leads on the 2.1mm jack are positive/negative/ground? I can't find any breakdown online... this is the jack I am using: http://www.allelectronics.com/make-a-store/item/DCJ-1/2.1MM-DC-POWER-JACK/1.html EDIT: I think I got it right...
  8. Cree LED light write-up

Hey folks, I just finished soldering and assembling my fixture, based on your guide Smoq, and I seem to have a problem: The lights do not actually turn on, but they blink briefly a few seconds after I unplug them. Any idea what I did wrong, and how I can fix it? EDIT: I think it might have...
