i have a rock with red mushrooms, they are starting to fall off the rock.can anyone tell me why this might be happening?? or is this normal

i have 2 150w double ended core and coil ballasts to trade for frags. i tried both on a brand new icecap 10k lamp and fired them no problem will trade both with icecap 10k lamp for icecap 250 ballast.
