Likely your heater failed. Especially if it felt "warm". Sorry to sound like an a$$, but if you didn't bother to double check the temp when it felt warm, then you got no one to blame but yourself. A decent thermometer costs about $3.
Hope you recover.

I like your designs, but the risk of exposing live animals to those chemicals would be too much for me personally. Also, I would think that anything artificial would become encrusted in coraline and/or algae after a week or so, unless you turn to scrubbing them weekly.

Does anyone know if False/true Perculas and Haddoni's are a match?
Trying to find something (other than a Clarkii) for my Haddoni.
Thanks in advance,

I had been dosing extra calcium and alkalinity in the past week to bring them both up a bit. The pump I use for supplemental movement in the display tank may have crapped out earlier this weekend without my knowlege as it only moves a small volume of water. (It's connected to my UPS... kind of...
Last night I happened to notice above normal water elevation in my sump. Inititally I thought it was caused by a vacuum break in my water top off (allowing about an extra gallon or two of RODI into the sump) so I ignored it and went to bed. Well I learned this morning that my sump return pump...
Her colors and fins look pretty good. She just looks lethargic.
She was laying eggs for about a year, but I haven't seen her lay them in about 3 or 4 months (since I added some scarlet shrimp).
I wouldn't be worried, but she's not eating.

She's been lying down in her green haddoni anemone for about a week and not eating. I've had her, her mate and the Haddoni for about 2 years and the 3 were doing great. They even had a few offspring. But lately she's been looking tired. Everything else in the tank is great, so I wonder if it may...
I noticed today that when I add my B-Ionic Alkalinity component, something whit is precipitating out. Almost looks gooey.
I dilluted the alkalinity with RODI to about 1/3 the original concentration and it appears to dissolute? (if that's a word).
Is this an acceptable practice?
Thanks in...
My copperband hasn't touched any corals, neither does my Purple Tang. As a matter of fact the only fish I've ever had that has picked at any corals was a Flame Angel.

I added a CB to my 90 about a month ago. My slightly larger purple tang chased him around the tank for about 48 hours. They get along pretty well now, but every now and again (once or twice a day) my purple tang will give the CP a chase in what appears is to be showing who is Alpha Male. Other...
Finding a crack on the bottom of the tank due to an imperfection in the stand.
REplacing the tank and everythign inside it was quite a chore, but at least I was able to upgrade to a 90 for free.

Have you thought about throwing some live rock into the tank? I'm sure the bacteria colonies on the LR would help keep your nitrogen cycle in check.
