Just wanted to share a few pics of a stand I built for my 24G Aquapod. :splitspin

I have used Super Glue Gel from Home Depot. I believe the glue should contain cyanoacrylate.

Ive had asterinas in my nano from day one. Never noticed them munching on zoas and plenty of coralline on the rocks and walls.

Not being lazy. I was curious about how much water was being wasted making RO/DI. For 1 gallon of RO/DI I make, 5-6 gallons in going to waste.

This is the reason I questioned it. Mikey also questioned in my head, the murky water part too. Any other opinions?

I am sure some people here use NSW. If so, how do you collect it? Do you go down to the beach or do you take a boat offshore and collect there? Are there any advantages to using NSW compared to RO/DI and a salt mix?

Cibo I started mine with fresh saltwater and an airstone. Added some Marine Snow I had sitting around and of course the starter culture.

I will try that... What did you end up adding as a food source? Ive been using 'Marine Snow' and throwing in some flake every so often. Seems to work so far.

Any update with your culture? I started my own culture 2 weeks ago in a 5 gallon tank and have seen an increase in the number in tigger pods already. :tongue1:

I have a long nose hawkfish in my nano. Have not had a problem with it eating snails and hermits. (But that is in my tank)
