  1. New to Manhattan Reefs!

Hello Zenfish, I don't have very powerful lighting. I just installed the lights in the link below and removed my old florescent bulbs. The tank is a 14 gallon biocube that I noticed heating up quickly during the summer...

  4. New to Manhattan Reefs!

Hello oh207, I'm hoping the setosa grows out nicely. I noticed some whiteness (possible growth?) on one part of it, that for some reason catches tank gunk. Do you encounter that with you setosa or any other sps's if you have them. I will keep an eye on the Anthelia. Hopefully when it does...
  5. New to Manhattan Reefs!

Thanks for the input Reefiness. I think a torch placed somewhere on the rocks would be nice. What do you think about some ricordeas? I think I'm going to stay away from zoas, I had some on hitchhike on a rock and they died. Thanks again.

  8. Corynactis hitchhiker?

Yes, at first it does look like Aiptasia that's why I'm keeping an eye on it. Its hard to see but it does have bubble like tips. I purchased the rock about a month ago from a shop.
  9. Corynactis hitchhiker?

Hello everyone, I hope this is a Corynactis. It's hard to capture in a picture because it is sort of see-through. It looks like the tentacles have white circular tips. Anyone have experience with these guys?
  10. New to Manhattan Reefs!

    It's an Anthelia coral.
  11. Coral Dips

I use Two Little Fishies ReVive Coral Cleaner. I follow the instructions on the bottle and haven't had any issues.
  12. New to Manhattan Reefs!

Thanks everyone for your feedback. I may get rid of the GSP, I thought it would of looked more grassy. As of yet, I can control it while on the sand. Any coral suggestions?
  13. New to Manhattan Reefs!

Hello everyone, Like a few other newbies I'd like to share some pictures of my nano cube and get some suggestions on additional corals and placement. I really like my tanks exposed rock work but def. want some more corals. I would love to hear what you guys would do with this set up. I...
