    no...the alk is perfect as well. Not sure what is goin gon but, it is gonna stink if I can't figure it out. It is a nice size and I love the orange color. Guess I will just have to keep an eye on it and hope for the best. Thank you fo everyones help.

    thanks bogliman for the help, we have placed as close to the bottom as possible.....although I have not seen any air bubbles anywhere in the tank I will definately keep an eye out for them..... I just received our chiller today, now we have to get that started up and running...hopefully that...

    we have had it around one month.....we purchased it from Absolute Fish...I watched the salesman bag it and he was extremely careful, he placed his hand in the bag then in the tank and put it in that way, could it be that in order for me to give it high flow I need to place it higher in the tank...

    no it was never exposed to air....we placed the bag in the water then removed it that way. We feed phytoplankton every other day.

    I was just wondering if anyone has any experience with orange tree sponges. We purchased one, and the tips of it are turning like a fuzzy white. It says to keep it in a high flow are but not in direct light. All my water tests fine.... Any advice would be appreciated. PH 8.0 Calcium 400...

    i have the nova extreme pro's both 6x18 watts, they are fan cooled really no heat comes off them and everything in my tank is growing great, and my tank is 30 inches deep. i really like them.

    Quang thanks you that thread answer my question and feelings about it. ive asked a few people about it and nobody has heard of it. they say it adds depleted minerals back in your system and balances your PH.

    btldreef i agree with you, we just spot feed and leave them be, our RBTA has split 5 times and we still have our LTA for about 5 years now.

    We tend to be a little paranoid about all of our fish. We try very hard to keep them happy and healthy, we will definatley keep our eye out for him.....as well as the other fish. We appreciate all of the feedback.

    Awibrandy the rocks do touch in certain spots but its very very open all the way around. so i know there will be certain spots that wont get clean. also we have pods in the tank for the manderin but he eats brine and mysis like crazy maybe its the pic but he did get bigger since we got him a...

    some do touch on the sides but i left alot of room for flowall the way around in the front its way away from the glass. it just appears close. i have more pics some from the top and sides. i like these ones
