Hi. I have a 30" deep tank and run 8-54w bulbs on IC660's with reflectors. I think it is too much. If I had to do over, I probably wouldn't overdrive them with Icecaps.

I think you'll find that if you watch the overflow, it will slowly increase in height until all of a sudden enough water height builds up, and it goes rushing down the pipe with a loud gurgle. Agree with the Durso recs.
