DO NOT PUT THEM IN THE SAME BAG. ;)
Bag them seperately. Use Kordon breather bags (double bagged)
For you fish and coral. The reason being is in the name.
They expell co2 and allow O2 penetration. Push as much air out of the bag as you can before you seal it if you use breather bags.
If...
Guy: The sump was inside contained in a sump room not outside. The only thing that lead to the outside of the house was the skimmer waste
( or so he says in the post I quoted any way?)
No one saw it either right?
I REALY feal bad for the guy honsestly I do.But there is obviously a huge piece of information missing here.

APMP's = watts DIVIDED by voltage
Example: 2300w divided by 120v = 19.1 AMP's. That is MAXIMUM Volt amps drawn.
Multiply your total volt amperes found by 50% to find continuous volt amperes drawn. (industry standard for margin of error is +\- 50%)
Example: 30 amps x .50 = 15 amps continuous...
I know this was posted before already but I am just to Lazy to look it up LOL!!
I purchased "fission" nano skimmer recently.
SO far this thing is the biggest POS I have ever seen.
Over skims even at the LOWEST setting and set with the base barely sinking below the waters surface AND a sponge...
NO. If you go by the raw numbers it will not.
You MUST planfor a +\-50 % margine of error. ( I know that seems huge but thats industry standard calculation)
Buy a little larger than your intitial numbers tell you to and you should be ok.
;)
He did have an auto top off system in place and his sump was not outside but in a seperate room. His skimmer is the only thing that lead outside to drain as per his reply here:
