  1. Why Could Natural Reef Temps be Harmful in an Aquarium

    I have maintained sps for over 10 years and lps and softies for at least 15 years. I used to keep temps at 75-78 degrees and never had a problem. Fast growth, healty corals, long term. Now I keep temp at 82-84 for at least 1 year now with mostly sps,some lps and 1 or 2 softies mushrooms...

    Very timid fish. Rock dweller so you never see him. Once in a great while I see a flash.. Very expensive fish not to see at all.. FWIW

    You might want to try a POTTERS WRASSE they will eat most of you flat worms very quickly. I have a 400 that was filled pretty good with FW and the potters just keeps on munching. Its also a nice addition to your reef. imho Ken

    I would clip the tips of the "dead" area and you should get new growth usually 2 branches or more should start to come from the clipped(prunned) area. This has been my experience. Sometimes waiting for new growth on bleached coral doesnt happen because of hair algae,coraline algae etc.. Just my...
