I have a queen conch and it is now about 7" long, maybe a bit longer. I have plenty of square inches of sand so the conch moves around quite a bit. Occasionally it knocks over the clams, and has bumped the rocks a little. He/she will climb on the rocks occasionally, which is really strange to...

I dose kalkwasser, and occasionally I add a buffer to up the alkalinity. Water changes replenish the trace elements in my case. Ernie

I disagree. All the xenia I had before was the pulsating kind. Under the right light, it will grow so fast that in a matter of a couple weeks, you will not be able to control it. My whole tank got taken over (180 gallon reef) by the stuff. Ernie

I have since torn down my tank and set it up anew and I will never again add xenia to my tank as it grows like crazy. Reefers beware of the white weed! Ernie
