hey guys. exactly how many hermit crabs is too many for a 12 gallon jbj nano cube? the crabs are about 3/4" to 1" in length. i've got nothing in there right now except about 3/4" of sand and 12 pounds of live rock. thanks!
I've heard people say take out all the filtering stuff, i've heard people say leave the foam and I've heard people say leave everything in there. What do you guys do with your JBJ Nano Cube filter stuff? (Right now, I've got everything out of there, with 12 lbs of live rock doing the filtration.)
I know the basics are ammonia, nitrite, nitrate, ph and alkalinity. Are there any other things I should be testing for? Is chlorine a big factor? Thanks.
Hey guys. This is my first post. I got a 12 gallon Nano Cube last night, filled it with Caribbean sand (about 1.5 inches high) and seawater. I also put in 7 pounds of live rock. (Is 7 pounds too little for a 12 gallon tank?) I've got two questions for you guys.
