    A chevron should be fine with a purple. With tangs there will be some aggression but it shouldn't be terrible with these 2 species.

    Carmabi basslet or polynesian helfrichi firefish, but if you dont have a couple of grand, a regular helfrichs firefish.

    It could be damaged from rubbing against something while trying to build a burrow, also a possibility of running into a bristleworm in his burrow.

    Yes, they are more colorful, but they shouldnt cost much more than a regular viridis, as they are often caught together.

    This is a fish that really does need small frequent meals. They do not ship well, and starve relatively quickly if not given 5+ feedings daily, and do not forgive missing a day of feeding.

    Yep. There may be some examples of success with mixing mystery wrasses with shrimp, but for the most part mystery wrasses are not to be trusted with motile inverts.
