  1. Replacing Pro Buffer DKH

Hello. I have been dosing daily with this liquid for years and it’s become increasingly rare. What are other folks using for liquid dosing for buffering? Thanks in advance
  2. Tank Thread Tank reached 38 years old...in 2009!

Lol. Are they striped killifish though? I think you referenced stripes before. I had them in a ?local? LI fish tank and they were actually very aggressive joking aside to other fish in there, but other fish tails to pieces before I removed them
  3. Mangled BTA!

Yep. May be the case...wasn?t sure what else I could do if it couldn?t attach although in hindsight maybe I could have rigged some rockwork where it was in the display but secured somehow so it could be prevented from blowing around
  4. Mangled BTA!

Thanks everyone. Was totally breaking apart today so took it out. Shame but good lesson to regularly check my preventative measures!
  5. Mangled BTA!

I do indeed so we will have to do some more searching for tropicals! Re the nem, looks like the foot and lower half took the most damage which is why I wanted it confined in case it couldn?t grip. I also use a magnetic algae scraper to hold the box below the surface so there is still some flow...
  6. Mangled BTA!

Hi. The protective cover I have over a filter intake had somehow come off and last night one of my small BTA?s got sucked in, had the foot/body badly mangled by the impeller to where it jammed it up causing the water in the filter to heat as well. I removed what was left of the nem damage seems...
  7. Tropical stray (?) I.D

I caught it in the bay yesterday and it spent last night and today on its own in a new QT tank?
  8. Tropical stray (?) I.D

He can go back where I found him, virtually same tide as well.
  9. Tropical stray (?) I.D

Yep I found that out in my research so he will be heading back this evening. Also migratory vs a stray apparently
  10. Tropical stray (?) I.D

Thanks. I also attached some new pics of those other 2 as well if anyone has any suggestions.
  11. Tropical stray (?) I.D

So I think I also netted what I thought was a baby Remora today. Black with the Remora type fan tail and a light brown lateral line pictures aernt great as very slow acclimation so dark in QT. But it doesn?t appear to have same type of mouth as a Remora so thought it may be a Cobia but doesn?t...
  12. Tropical stray (?) I.D

hello. Collected these 2 this weekend. The smaller striped guy looks like some type of wrasse, he has a light purple stripe on the side which does t show in the picture. Not sure what type of fish the other is (longer with gray/silver marking and black lateral line) Any ideas?
