  7. JBJ NANO CUBE 12 Protein SKimmer

I have the saphire aquatics 12G nano skimmer, in my opinion it works very well. It take out lots of green tea from my tank every day. you have to tune it. But once it gets going it is a decent lil skimmer. I've had it for about a year and it works very well.

  11. coral sting - similar to anemone sting?

wow, I know I am still sort of a newbie in here, but one thing I know for sure. And that is to wear gloves when I am adjusting corals, moving rocks, etc. Paly's are about the most dangerous things in our tanks, I was reading about their toxin, and found out just how nasty they are. I was...
  12. Newbie here and to the reef world...

When it comes to a reef tank, you are better off curing your LR in your tank, it might take some time, but you are better off than curing in a bucket.. bringing it to your tank and then shocking the tank and waiting for it to cycle. As for the LED's, the main gimmick of them is that they are...

WOW Awi... amazing before and after pics. When I started, way before I knew of such a thing as manhattan reefs... I was guilty of using tap water. I thought it was coraline algae... but it was cyanobacteria growing all over my rocks. I work in water treatment now, and one thing I can tell you is...
