  1. The wonderful world of T5

Grim Reefer tested both fixtures: PM & Tek- The ATI Powermodule had 50% more PAR than the Tek. Comparing a Tek to a PM is like comparing a Ford Escort to a Porsche GT2 The +'s of a PM *Active/Ducted Cooling (Air is pulled in through the sides, over the endcaps, through holes right over the...
  2. The wonderful world of T5

I use a 6 bulb Powermodule on my 120g, At first I thought it would not be enough light. Boy was I wrong, I have an SPS dominant tank & they have growth & color that I could only dream about with my old MH setup. When I first installed it, The light was about 4" above the water. I had to...
  3. Can someone please explain this tank to me?

Daily Water Changes? Maybe he has his equipment in a different room, I don't see a Calcium Reactor, dosing pumps, etc anywhere.
  4. Custom Aquariums, Sumps & Refugiums

I would look into AGE for your Tank, There have been quite a few AO tanks that have had seams split. AGE may cost a little more for the tank but the shipping is way cheaper, AO's come out of Canada so the shipping offsets the lower price.
  5. Amphiprion mccullochi

Thats a shipping container & Aussie ruler so they are obviously imported.. I was hoping someone was breeding them stateside.
  6. Amphiprion mccullochi

Wow.. I guess somebody is captive breeding these. IMO The best looking clowns on the market. Here are a couple of pics of some juvi's, got this from the Zeo forum.. Info- Amphiprion mccullochi - Mccullochi is not found at Norfolk Island where many of the latezonatus specimens come from. It...

  10. Concrete's 120g Tech- 200g build thread

Yeah, The weak US $$ is killing us right now. If all things were equal, The ATB would only be around $500-600.. I got it before the price increase- $750... You will not be disappointed with the powermodule- I used to have MH's over my tank and was worried about my corals not getting enough...
  11. Concrete's 120g Tech- 200g build thread

The powermodule is one of the best, if not *the best* T5 Fixture on the market- A 6 bulb Powermodule = 12 bulb Tec, double the par, (according to GrimReefer). The ATB skimmer- Nothing can touch it.. period. I've seen an ATB Medium & Reeflo 250 running side by side- The Reeflo shut down...
