  1. ?@?@?@?@?@? Snail ?@?@?@?@?@?

Bubblebee snails tend to eat other snails in the tank. Mine does.
  2. Anemone or Sponge?

Has it moved yet? I have one that looks similar, at first I thought it was a sponge, but one day I saw it moving. I think it's a nudi or something. I believe it's creamy in color with small furry frills on, very soft squeesy to the touch. ID help?

But wait that's not all... according to instructions, he suggests that you take a pair of scissors, insert it through the pvc hole to spread the break. 8O Now he suggest that I play with scissors too? Dee dee dee :?
  5. Frag-locs --- Intriguing...

Well, he reeled a few people in, including me into buying a few. At 99 cents a piece, plus shipping. He's making out. Curiosity killed the cat!!!
  6. Frag-locs --- Intriguing...

Yes PVC, plastic tubing is more flexible and easier to work with. I'm sticking with my fish line story.

  8. Frag-locs --- Intriguing...

Ok, like many of you, I too was intrigued by the idea, so I bought some ($5 worth and got 8 in the mail). The seller didn't put any pictures because if he did, no one would buy them. Not to knock his idea, but anyone with a 1/4 plastic tubing or larger can do the same thing. Take a look for...
  9. Need advice on setting up 75g reef on tile in my Kitchen

I don't have my aquarium set up on tile, but I have experience with tile. It all depends on what your tiles are laid on, is it plywood or a cement slab? You probably won't have a problem if it's on a cement slab, but on plywood even with extra joist to hold the weight, tile can eventually crack...

  11. MH question

Hey Crissy. Your network admin's pretty strick. Don't blame the firewall, it's your strick network admin that's blocking anyone from going to certain web sites. DOH! I too have wondered if those MH lights at the hardware stores are safe/ok to use. I'm setting up holding tanks in the garage and...
  12. Fish ID please

I think it's a dragonet. I've been doing some research on dragonets and found this to have similar features. The site I looked at says that most dragonets have 4 spines on the first dorsal fin. This guy has 5, I'm assuming that he still comes from the same genus. I'm still looking for a picture...

Is this guy a goby? Many thanks.
  15. tank raised percs...

One of mine died from ich (I hope both your percs make it). The other one survived, just like the chromis and blenny. I have not added any fish to my reef tank for a few weeks now, and won't for a few more just in case. The life cycle of ich is about 45 to 60 days, I hope the remaining fish is...
