has anyone experimented with moon cycle in reef tank ? I am reading articles saying that it does not matter to set moon cycles for a particular region .
are their any existing light brands that implement moon cycle and how do they do it ?

how many hours of light is recommended for salt water coral aquarium ? I read an article saying we should leave the lights on for 12 hours n then another article was talking about 8 hours.
is there any established rules for this ?

what ratio of these lights I should be varying to achieve the sunset and sunrise effects?
should I only increase decrease the whites or also the blues to achieve this effect ...
