2 Part Dosing Question.

So Im just starting to Dose BRS 2 Part and It seems my tank is only really using Alk. The Cal is holding steady at 440ppm. As for my Alk it was at 7.4 yesterday before I added 50ml of ALK bringing it up to 8.4. I just tested today and already down to 7.7. I know you should be adding the 2 part evenly but is that so even if my tank isn't using very much Cal?

That's a spike on the larger side for Kh. Dose half of what you dosed too maintain. Both parts equally. You also need too make sure your Mg is above 1300 too keep the 2 part seperate

Like Dnyceli said, it is probably your Magnesium. When you get that stable you shouldn't have a dip like that.
