New Arrivals.....

[Manhattan Aquariums]

We meet again and I will take this opportunity to update you on New Arrivals here at Manhattan Aquariums....Anemones take the forefront this time around with more species here than I have ever seen at any one time...From the genus Heteractis there are 2....crispa a "Long tentacle anemone" (LTA) and aurora..a curiosity known as the "Beaded anemone"..We also have stunning examples of the other LTA..Macrodactyla doreensis.
The "Carpets" (Stichodactyla) offer us 3 species...gigantea: in beautiful shades of blue and neon green with a single violet/purple one really standing out; haddoni: smaller and stunningly neon, amongst these is a lovely red one..and finally tapetum or the "mini" carpet anemone. We have a lot of these in stock and each one is unique.
Cerianthus or "tube anemones" continue to glow in their freakishly unreal fashion here at MA and never cease to stop anyone seeing them for the first time, dead in their tracks.
Our Euphyllia collection is "ridiculous" right now as well and must be seen!
I nearly forgot the gorgonians that Joe hand picked and sent...Some "sick stuff" happening there as well...and I am willing to bet that some of the types we just got most have only seen in books.
Overall though we are stocked to the gills here at Manhattan Aquariums, with no real "holes" in our selection...
