Hi, any experiences with this new LED lamp from EcoThech ??
I'm thinking in buying it for my tank but want to be sure that it works !

From what i read from people how bought them there not that great . Theres no optices and the spread thay say is bad . Alot are saying the AI is way better.

I just got mine last night, but compared to my cousin's AI sol blue I would say go ecotech 9/10. The fixture seems a lot brighter and the programming option is awesome. I say 9/10 simply because out of the box it takes some getting used to the software, but overall easy.

What size tank are you going to put on. They are pricey for sure. I have not seen them so I really can't comment on how good it is. You need to make sure that you have enough coverage.

It's a 50 Gal tank. It says that it's ok up to 40G. So...I'm on the limits.

Par readings are quite good and, in terms of cost, with AI you need to add the controller, so no difference in costs... that's why I'm not quite sure of which one is best..

AI $400 and controller is $75...... $475 total...

Radion is $750 don't see how that is the same.....

You could almost buy 2 AI Sols for the price of one Ecotech and quite honestly in my opinion they are NOT that much better. I got the opportunity to see them side by side the other day, alot of hype in the LED game especially with big name brands, just because they make the best wave makers doesn't mean they make the best LED fixtures, just my 2 cents.
