Hello everyone!
I traded a ricordea today for a gorgonian but I don't know to which family/genus/species this animal belongs. I know a picture would be better than 1000 words I can write but it is a moot point as I have no digital camera. Here goes my best effort: gorg frag is purple, about the thickness of a toothpick, stem is not 'round' it is more like a flattened oblong shape, and has very small (about 1/16-3/32 inch) brown polyps that do not protrude over the entire surface of the stem, instead they come out opposite each other (in a row running the length of the stem on each side).
Thanks!
-john
