Sea cucumber reproduction in my tank

I have had many Holanthuria (sp?) species sea cucumbers reproduce in my reef system. I have never heard of this before and I was wondering if this is common? I probably see 5-10 new "babies" in my tank every year or so. I haven't added anything in my tank for years, so I know they aren't hitchhikers.
