Need help with crab ID

I saw a crab in my smaller tank today ,i tried to catch the thing but not luck ,,took out the rocks and this little biatch just vanished ,,,
well it looked like this ,,

kinda redish /brown,with dark/black claws ,,any help ,,I am assuming that this is not good ,only cuz i had a cromy that went bye bye ,,and now cant find it ,so something ate it ,(the crab ,,is it reef safe ,,
Deanos or marrone ,can you guys give a hand on this one ,

Is it hairy? As long as it is not hairy, it should be ok. We need some clear picture to verify though.

not hairy at all ,,just a redish color and black tipped claws ..

I'll assume caribbean live rock, and NO not harmfull.

I thought sharp claws = bad

It looks different than the one that Frank and myself had but when it doubt it's best to take it out of the tank as you where know if it will start to eat some of your corals.

Those claws do look menacing. I would play it safe and put it in the fuge.

ok ,i dont have a fuge that he will not mess up ,,i have corals in my main fge ,and sump on my selling tanks ,so that just not a way to keep a crab,
so ,,where is Jennie ,,i have another hitchhiker for her ,if she wants it ,,if not ,anyone else want it ,,,it looks cool thou ,,

plus i had 2 little chromis in the tank ,and now no where to be found ,also ,I do have shrimp in the tanks as well ,but they are fine ,other wise i didnt really see any harm done to my corals ,but no chance needed to be taken here ,,its out ina cup waiting for a new home
