Today I was doing some tank maintenance, weekly water change and cleaning the galss of the tank and found a 1/4" or less size starfish (green). Well I assumed it was a starfish because it was teh shape of a star; had five corners, one of the corners had mini whiskers (which I think is the head) and it was moving slowly along one of my rocks. I never bought this; so its listed as one of my hitchhikers.

Do you think this is harmful to my tank? On another note, I want to keep a wrasse but unsure if I have enough pods, how do I increase them in my tank?

as for the star are the legs skinny and long or are they short and stubby

Do a 'search' (there is a function for this on the Home Page) of Asterina, and tell us if you starfish looks like this type.

I can't agree with you Dave, some Wrasses would be far easier to maintain (and probably live a lot longer) if they were eating mostly pods as they do in the wild. Just look at the Leopard Wrasses.

Hungriee..do you know what type of wrasses you'd like to add to your tank yet?
