The thing in the center of the pic... it reminds me of a blasto but it has tiny sweeper tentacles. I know its from Tonga... Any help is appreciated!

Leo let me cut off a branch of rock that had a tiny awesome red mushroom (I wonder if they got sold, b/c they were bright and no one picked it up that day) Geuss I have some research to do! :)

Mine has a greenish tint but its pretty transparent so I'm not sure what to call it.. Its stuck to the rock I think is there a way to transfer it somewhere else for when the mushroom grows bigger?

Thanks cowfish!

I've been trying to search but I can't find the answer to why some plates are a nice round shape and some are mis-shaped and not always completely flat.. I assume its how their environment was when they were growing but does anyone have the facts?

Here are a few of mine. Usually when they get about the size of a dime you can pop them off and hook them on to something else.

Once I take mine off will the rock continue to make more baby plates? I've read on another thread about someone saying that a rock pops out baby plates in the same spot every so often I guess..
