This hitchhiked on in with my LR. I'm assuming it's some sort of zoa polyp perhaps.... I thougt it was an aptasia at first, but it doesnt look like any of the pics I've seen, and they are both growing from the same base. Then again, the center mouth doesnt really look like a zoa polyp either.

Awesome, thanks Lazi. I figured it was some sort of polyp. Funny thing is, those two started growing well before I put any other coral in the tank, and they are the only ones that have yet to split or bud. Haha.

NP, Mike. Maybe your other corals are incompatible with these button polyps, Just Joking. They are very hardy and fast growers, and before you know it, u ll need to think of ways to get rid of them. lol. These were my first corals, I still like them nevertheless.

I have some button polyps that grow like mad. I also recieved a couple cinnamon polyps on some live rock and now I have 4. that rock i got is now over 3 yrs old. some things just take a long time.
