just got these and the guy i got them from had no idea . i did a search on zoaid.com and i think fire and ice are close
anyone know for sure what they are ?

ZoaID claims to be the definitive repository for named zoanthids. Many zoanthid collectors recognize it as such. If you can't find it listed there, it's probably:
  • not yet named
  • doesn't deserve a name
  • has a name, but looks different due to differing lighting parameters
  • has a name, but the person looking didn't bother to check the site thoroughly

I have 2 frags of fire & ice, both kept under different lighting conditions. On one, the fire part is orange & on the other it is red.

The same for 2 RDE frags, one the skirts appear yellow & long, the other looks like regular RDE. Different flow & light conditions will alter the appearance a bit.

thanks i kind of figured they were
i know corals look different under different types of lighting i just wanted a second opinion
