rebar Advanced Reefer Location Brooklyn Rating - 100% 6 0 0 Feb 26, 2008 #7 the cup coral is an interesting theory, as there is a sun/cup coral right next to it. the organe growth may be that. do they migrate like that but the pink stuff is totally different color, and looks round, like a mushroom. are strawberry anemone's bad?

It is more closely related to mushroom anemones, especially Ricordea, than it is to true anemones. It is non photosynthetic and it will spread slowly if there is enough food for it to catch.
