I bought this yesterday at my local store and the employee didn't know what kind of coral this is. Any help would be appreciated. Sorry if I put this in the wrong place I am new to Forums.

I believe reefman is correct.

It is a hydnophora Just give it some space from other corals since it can put off some long sweeper tentacles.

Yes keep away from stuff i had a big one i sold if you have a lot of sps you may want to rethink it just my opinion

Yes I've ordered a frag holder specifically for it to make sure it's away from everything else.
